Volunteer group departs for south Sudan

Three timpir board members depart Australia today to travel to south Sudan where they will implement and evaluate projects including two local village schools, distribution of mosquito nets, distribution of hand peledger tricycles which have been made especially for ten people with mobility disorders.

The journey to south Sudan will take approximately 4 days with a stopover in Uganda to obtain visas before flying to juba, the capital of south Sudan. We will then fly across to aweil, the capital of northern bahr el ghazal state, the state in which a majority of timpir’s projects are currently implemented.
